A reminder to all members that during these Winter months, those who rely on a motorised cart or bike to play golf are advised to check the front page of our website or phone the Pro Shop to check if carts are permitted on course. 

Saturday 14th August, Par, 1st Round of Winter Wade

Sixty four players battled the heavy conditions, with tee-ups in force to protect the course.  The winner of A Grade with a round of +4 was Christopher Brydon, playing off a 16 handicap.  A Grade runner up, edged out by a count back was Mick Lithgow +4.  Merv Peel (33) won B Grade with the equal best round of the day +5.  Merv got over the line on a count back from runner up David Leach +5.  Balls down the line went to +2 on a count back.  Nearest to pins; 2nd Steven Bethune, 5th (pro pin) Mick Lithgow, 14th Christopher Brydon, 17th Paul Timewell.

Wednesday 11th August, Stableford

The poor weather again resulted in a lack lustre field of only 25 players for the mid week Stableford comp, enough for only one grade. THe winner was John Wolswinkel (17) with 38 points on a count back from runner up Pat McDonald.  Better scores came from Lindsey Robinson 37 and Cleo Sahhar 36.  Balls down the line went to 35 on a count back.

Saturday 7th August, Stroke, Monthly Medal

81 Players. The winner of the monthly medal and B Grade with a great round of nett 68 was Peter Daniel, playing off a 17 handicap.  Runner up in B Grade with nett 69 was Ian Mortimer, followed by Craig Cottier 70, Warren Cook 72 and Damian Bibby 72.  The winner of A Grade and unfortunate to be edged out for the medal on a count back was Danny Gorman (13) with nett 68.  Runner up in A Grade with a nett 69 was Jason Stirzaker 69, followed by Nick Sleep 70 and Rick Schenk 70.  C Grade winner was junior Jayden Bibby (33) with a nett 70, on a count back from runner up Graham Rawson 70.  Evan Colvin, David Coombe, Neil Linklater and Merv Peel all returned with nett 72.  Nearest to pins; 14th Danny Gorman, 17th John Nooy.  Harry Matthews had the best scratch score with 75 and the best junior score came from Rick Shenck 70.

Wednesday 4th August, Stableford

46 Players - One Grade.  Jackson Wade (9) had a nice round of 39 points to take out the trophy, on a count back from runner up John Denholm 39 and Russell Meehan 39.   Balls down the line went to 37 on a count back.
